Illinois “Stay at Home” order impacts Brennan & Clark

I am hopeful this finds you healthy and safe. I want to reiterate my message of gratitude from a few days ago – I remain humbled at how all of us have come together and voiced that all of our concerns circle around the well-being of each other and our respective customers.

The State of Illinois has taken the unprecedented step of requiring all non-essential business workforce to stay home effective Saturday, March 21st until the end of day on April 7th. I want to assure you that Brennan & Clark has implemented it’s full Pandemic Policy (Business Continuity Plan). We are open and fully operational with our team working remotely during this mandatory timeframe. Our phones are being answered. Our emails are being received and answered. We will continue to service you with minimal interruption.

We are closely monitoring the developments with regard to COVID-19. Our priority is to protect our clients’ interests and proceed in a manner that is legal, ethical and responsible to our clients, our colleagues and their families.

Unless instructed by you otherwise, our collectors will continue to make calls, we will continue to send letters and work towards negotiating resolution through our efforts. There will be no delays attributable to our office. Our purpose is to collect and protect – today I turn that around to protect and then collect. We have your reputation to protect, along with protecting the integrity of your customers.

Although there is a great deal of uncertainty at the present time, we endeavor to work to do everything possible to allow business to continue as usual during these challenging times. Please reach out to myself or your regular contacts with any business needs or concerns. Please know that my team is remains extremely sensitive to the companies in hot-spots, and who are in the middle of “Shelter Down” communities.

While our business continuity plan was designed to be relied upon in this type of situation, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through these unchartered waters.

We are so thankful to represent and protect you. We’ve got your back! You are in our thoughts.
Meg Scotty
