Consumer Collector

The Consumer Collector is responsible for contacting consumers to collect and resolve past-due accounts while delivering excellent customer service. This role involves using effective communication and negotiation skills to help customers bring their accounts current, arrange payment plans, and maintain positive relationships. Training will be provided—ideal for motivated individuals looking to begin a career in collections or financial services.
Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due accounts.
- Review account information and verify payment details to ensure accuracy.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements within company guidelines.
- Document all customer interactions, payment commitments, and account updates accurately in the system.
- Follow up on promises to pay and ensure timely resolution of accounts.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, federal and state collection laws (FDCPA, etc.), and data privacy standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet individual and department collection goals.

- Must be computer literate with the ability to input and retrieve data from database systems.
- High School Diploma Required

The starting pay is up to $21 per hour, depending on qualifications – PLUS BONUS!
Experience & Education
- Experience: Microsoft Suite: 1 year/ Entry Level Customer Service
- Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
